notyetjeffco.org is a real advocacy site about real ballot measures, and many of its facts check out. But it is written by one long-time district critic, and it regularly takes the most damaging reading of a source, rounds numbers up, and leaves out context that cuts the other way. A few of its claims are simply false.
Treat it as an opinion piece, not a neutral fact sheet. The core argument has real support in the primary record: on the 2018 capital program, the site's central numbers survive checking against the district's own documents — including, per our own analysis of the district's published final costs, at program end (see What the Program Finally Cost). Where the site stumbles is elsewhere: misstated case records, a wrong escalation mechanism, an inflated natatorium figure, blended tallies, and undisclosed perspective. And where its allies escalate the documented record into claims of crime, the record stops following (see "Illegal" and "Prosecutable").
